Maroosha Muzaffar is an award-winning journalist and an aspiring screenwriter. Born and brought up in Srinagar, Kashmir, Maroosha has worked with VICE India, California-based OZY Media, India Today magazine, and The Indian Express. A Fulbright scholar, her work has also appeared in the New York Times, The Atlantic, GQ India besides others. Maroosha specializes in narrative and intimate storytelling. One of her essays on New York and loneliness was published in a Penguin Random House anthology. An unapologetic Delhi street food fan, Maroosha, one day, wants to move to Mumbai — hopefully when all this (the pandemic) is over.
